Discover's rules

Updated 5 October 2026

Discover, in Fridg, shows recipes Fridg cooks share and recipes from creators' pages and public posts that Fridg households save. Everyone who shares a recipe there agrees to these rules. Fridg is made by innonova GmbH.

What you may share

How a recipe gets on Discover

A small AI reads every recipe shared or newly saved once, to check it is a recipe and to read its language and cuisine. While Discover is new, a person at Fridg says yes to each new recipe before it shows. A recipe from a creator's page or post shows its name, its ingredients and who made it, with a link to the creator's own page for the method.

Reporting

Every recipe on Discover has Report: Not a recipe, Hurtful, Copied from someone, or Something else, and a switch to hide that cook's recipes from you. A recipe three people report is hidden until a person at Fridg has looked at it. A recipe taken down says so in Your recipes of the cook who shared it, with the reason. A cook who keeps breaking these rules can no longer share.

For creators and sites

If your recipes show on Discover because Fridg households saved them and you would rather they did not, write to app@fridg.me with your site or your handle: your recipes are taken off and never added again. The same address answers a copyright complaint about any recipe.
